Job description

We’re looking for a Product Sales Specialist to help convert trial users into paying customers. You’ll engage directly with small business customers and help them understand the value of Setmore and its add-ons. This role focuses on proactive outreach, consultative selling, and closing, with clear ownership of results and a direct impact on revenue while building a strong foundation in SaaS sales.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with US-based customers who sign up for the Setmore scheduling product to understand their needs and guide them toward the right subscription and add-ons.

  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities by assessing customer workflows, booking volume, and operational challenges.

  • Upon identification of an expansion opportunity, deliver a pitch tailored to their business. Explain the value proposition, ROI and pricing structure. 

  • Conduct short product walkthroughs or demos when needed, address any objections that arise around pricing or trust. Close the deal by using a structured follow-up plan. 

  • Own monthly conversion, upsells, and revenue targets by managing outreach initiatives.  Additionally, maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.

  • Work closely with onboarding, support, and internal teams to share customer insights and improve activation, retention, and sales effectiveness.

Job requirements

Must have

  • 1-4 years of experience in outbound sales roles, with prior exposure to selling to US customers from India.

  • Excellent spoken English with clear, confident communication and strong telephone presence.

  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to close deals and consistently meet sales targets.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems to track calls, follow-ups, and deal progress.

  • Willing to work in the US time zones (EST / CST / PST).

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.

Good to have

  • Experience in SaaS sales, especially converting freemium or trial users to paid plans.

  • Prior experience selling add-ons, upgrades, or bundled services.

  • Familiarity with SMB workflows and appointment-based businesses.

Performance metrics

  • Daily outbound calls to signed-up users.

  • Trial to paid conversion rate.

  • Add-on attachment rate.

  • Revenue generated per converted customer.

  • Consistency in follow-ups and CRM hygiene.
