Jr. Testing Engineer (Hiring drive - 25 July 2026 - Chennai)

We are searching for a detail-oriented Jr. Testing Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the highest quality in software products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying issues and improving the overall product experience. They will be responsible for testing APIs and front-end applications while collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other QA professionals in an agile environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to shaping our engineering culture and testing strategies, enhancing the reliability and performance of our applications.

Roles and responsibilities.

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define and execute test strategies.

• Conduct manual and automated testing for functionalities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for API flows, and frontend functionalities.

• Work with test automation tools like Playwright to enhance test coverage.

• Validate API responses, authentication mechanisms, and integration workflows using tools like Postman.

• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure a seamless user experience.

• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with the development team.

• Regularly collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to improve the overall software quality.

Must have.

• 0-1 years of experience in software testing.

• Strong understanding of API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman.

• Basic knowledge with automation frameworks.

• Some knowledge of frontend testing for web applications.

• Understanding of agile methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.

• Clear and effective communication skills to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams.
