Full Stack Developer (Distributed Source)

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with 2–4 years of experience who is passionate about building high-quality, end-to-end product features. You will contribute to the design and development of both frontend and backend services, working closely with experienced engineers, designers, and product stakeholders.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience with modern frontend and backend technologies, AI-assisted development, cloud-native services on Google Cloud Platform, and collaborative engineering practices, while helping deliver reliable, maintainable, and performant features.

Roles and responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of both frontend and backend services

• Build frontend features using React and Redux (Redux Toolkit), working with modern tooling like Vite for builds, bundling, and local development

• Develop backend services and features in Java, using the Spring framework

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices

• Work with AI tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted development

• Use Claude's tools — skills, subagents, MCP servers, and similar — as part of the development workflow

• Deploy and maintain services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Cloud Run or App Engine

• Debug and monitor services in production using GCP operational tooling (Cloud Logging, Error Reporting, Cloud Monitoring) and error tracking tools like Sentry

• Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Google Cloud Firestore, or Datastore

• Follow git workflows and contribute to CI/CD integrations on GitHub

• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and design features accordingly

• Collaborate effectively with other engineers, participate in code reviews, and share context to help the team

• Use static code analysis tools like SonarQube to maintain code quality

Must have

• 3–5 years of experience building full-stack, cross-platform web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Strong hands-on experience with React (18/19) and Next.js, including component-driven development and working within an established design system.

• Working knowledge of Redux for state management.

• Experience with Node.js and at least one backend framework such as Express or Hono.

• Practical experience with AWS SDK JS, and exposure to AWS SAM and/or Amazon Connect Streams / Amazon Connect RTC (or a strong willingness and aptitude to ramp up quickly).

• Experience working with Axios or similar HTTP clients for API integration.

• Working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices for web applications.

• Experience with build tooling such as Webpack and Vite, and styling with Sass/SCSS.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools: Jest, Vitest, Playwright, and React Testing Library.

• Familiarity with static analysis and code quality tools such as SonarQube, ESLint, and Prettier.

• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development workflows.

• Working knowledge of pnpm or similar package managers.

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform services such as Firestore/Datastore, BigQuery, Docker, and Cloud Run.

• Understanding of microservices architecture patterns.

• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to be a proactive individual contributor as well as a collaborative team player.

• Comfort working in a remote/distributed team environment across different modes of communication.

Good to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot CLI.

• Exposure to agentic AI frameworks such as Mastra AI.

• Certifications in any of the above skills, tools, or platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Google Cloud Associate/Professional Developer, or similar).

• Experience contributing to or maintaining a shared design system.

• Prior experience working on SaaS products or contact-centre/real-time communication features.

• Experience building and shipping a product from scratch.
